About The Print

Riyal is the Arabic term for coin and is widely used by printers to describe designs built around circular motifs.

It is a type of Ajrakh printing that is thought to have existed in India for over 4500 years. The riyal print has also been named Jewel box, giving it a super precious vibe.

Our artisan printers in India used an all-natural combination of rust iron and Taramix flower to create the warm hues in this design with 1 hand-carved printing block.

Care Instructions

Bag It Up: Pop your loungewear in a garment bag and wash with similar colours (no whites, with natural dyes please!) to keep those vibrant hues shining bright.
Go Natural (or use very gentle detergent if necessary) on Gentle wash Cycle: Use soap nuts, nature's little wonders from the Himalayas. These magic nuts are packed with natural soap that gently cleans your clothes without any chemicals
Add to your wash and set to cold water.
Hang out to dry out of direct sunlight
Handle with Love: While ripping off your loungewear can be fun, unbuttoning with care will keep all those lovely buttons in place.
Air Dry Only: Skip the tumble dryer! Give your pieces a good shake and hang them up to dry out of direct sunlight so they can dry naturally.
